Project Description:
A 7,500 square feet single story, four truck engine Fire Station designed to accommodate a sleep-in crew. The Fire Station is located on a 2.8 acre-site off Riverside Drive and designed to mesh and mirror the elegance and standard of the upscale adjacent neighborhood. The highlight of the design include a combination of brick and cats stone skin, as well as a combination of standing seam metal and tiled roof, large windows and beautiful landscape.

It is a new $1.1 million Fire Station for Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services. The job consists of 5,500 square feet, four fire truck apparatus bay, wood truss roof structure, and standing seam metal roofing. It also has load bearing concrete masonry unit with brick facing and stucco soffit and state of the art Fire Alarm communication system. The challenge of the job was the limited area conducting construction activities on a very steep property and very limited access to and from the extremely busy Cherokee Street.

The job consists of 7,000 square feet, four fire truck apparatus bay and structural metal building with built up roofing. It also has load bearing concrete masonry unit with brick facing and stucco soffit and state of the art Fire Alarm communication system. The design also includes a 1,500 square feet unfinished mezzanine space and connection to a septic system.
